This original print from Donostia is a collage work that combines photographic elements, immortalising a moving scene on the Paseo de la Concha. In it, a brave Mexican woman, now in her middle age, becomes an integral part of the summer landscape. Despite her less than perfect voice, she fills the air with the nostalgic melody of "Cielito Lindo". The tamarisks that surround her symbolise the relentless passage of time, which has left its mark on both the woman and her surroundings. This original Donostia print celebrates the beauty of perseverance and passion throughout life, reminding us that art transcends perfection.
All the illustrations are stamped and signed by hand by the artists Nerea Urrestarazu and Ane Zaldibar, both in open and limited series.
For our reproductions we use flat UV printing on 300 g/m2 Canson® Montval® watercolour paper.
Our hallmark is the 2:1 format. How did we decide to use it? By chance. In order to make a series profitable, we decided to use this format, which is out of the usual standards.
