The illustration "Igeldotik", part of the Donostia Kardinala series, offers a view of Donostia from Mount Igueldo. From this point, the island of Santa Clara, Mount Urgull, and beyond, Ulia and Hondarribia on the horizon can be seen. Calm tones, such as browns, ochres, greens and greys, define the palette, highlighting visible strokes that give texture to the work. The rendering plays with scale and detail, highlighting the small silhouette of the hotel with a touch of red that contrasts with the overall tonality, creating a serene image with a point of visual interest.
All the illustrations are stamped and signed by hand by the artists Nerea Urrestarazu and Ane Zaldibar, both in open and limited series.
For our reproductions we use flat UV printing on 300 g/m2 Canson® Montval® watercolour paper.
Our hallmark is the 2:1 format. How did we decide to use it? By chance. In order to make a series profitable, we decided to use this format, which is out of the usual standards.
